I received a phone call a while back from a man named Adrian Natzel. Adrian is a Focus Coach who was about to undergo a weight loss program and was looking for a photographer to document his journey.
I am always interested in new challenges so we setup an initial studio shoot to document Adrian’s starting point with a variety of photographs.
We recently shot the second studio session and looking at the starting point photos against the recent shoot it is very apparent that the weight is coming off. I am looking forward to doing a composite image using photos from each session to show Adrian’s journey, and will get it on the blog as soon as the program ends.
You can follow Adrian’s journey on his personal blog
Whilst we continue to look forward to the nice weather of spring and summer, the studio is a great place to get some winter portraits away from the wind and rain.
Portraits look great with the classic white background and never seem to go out of fashion. Full length, half length and a variety of headshot poses captured within an hours studio session will give you a fantastic set of photographs to choose from.
Our portrait sessions are available throughout the week and weekend at hours to suit you. Book today at www.paulhurstphotography.co.uk
I did a photo shoot in the studio with Rebecca recently and we managed to create some fantastic images for our portfolios. The studio has a white cove for nice clean white backgrounds, ideal for model portfolios, family and individual portrait shoots.
Although I am not into heavy post-processing of my images, I took an opportunity to experiment a bit with background textures on the last two images shown here.
I did a portrait shoot of Maxine this weekend using minimal equipment to be able to work in a confined space i.e a living room of your average house. Below are a couple of shots from the shoot, using a single light shot through a brolly, grey paper background and a bit of carboard to generate some wind, and for the bottom image a few metres of dress fabric in red and blue. A nice quick setup to include in a portrait shoot.
